A small studio with a long view
Zaid Nouman is a landscape architect based in Lahore. He works alone on design and 3D, with a trusted network for everything that gets built.
Most projects are private gardens and farmhouses in Lahore and Faisalabad. A growing share are remote commissions in Arizona and California, where water and heat set the brief.
Working as one designer means the person you meet on the first site walk is the one who draws, renders and checks the build. Nothing is passed between departments.
How we work
Climate first
Plants and materials are chosen for Lahore heat, Faisalabad dust or Arizona drought, before style.
See it before you build it
Every decision is shown in 3D, so surprises happen on screen and not on site.
Design for year ten
Trees are placed for the shade they will cast when grown, not the size they arrive at.
Buildable drawings
Drawings are detailed enough for any competent contractor to price and build accurately.
The wider team
Design and visualisation stay in-house. These are the people brought in for each project as it needs them.
Horticulture partners
Nurseries in Lahore and Faisalabad that grow and supply the planting palette.
Engineers
Structural and MEP consultants for rooftops, pools, drainage and lighting circuits.
Build teams
Contractors we have worked with before, or yours. We supervise either way.
US site partners
Local surveyors and installers in Arizona and California for remote projects.
