Desert Palms Residence
A thirsty lawn around a 1962 house replaced with desert planting and restored stone walls.
The brief
The owners were paying to water grass that never looked good. We removed the lawn, kept the original palms and planted agave, brittlebush and desert spoon in gravel beds.
The project ran remotely: survey photos and drone footage from the owners, a 3D model for every decision, and two site visits during build.
