Reflection House
A front lawn replaced by a shallow reflecting pool, an olive grove and a lit dining terrace.
The brief
The family wanted the garden to work after sunset, when Lahore summers finally cool. We moved the main lawn to the rear, put a 14-metre reflecting pool along the approach and planted a grove of olives that tolerate the heat and need little water once established.
Every view from the house was modelled in 3D before construction. The night renders decided the lighting plan: low bollards along the path, uplights in the olives, nothing pointed at the neighbours.
Site to render
Placeholder pair. Final images will show the same viewpoint before and after.
